Boston Rising celebrates Black women who have broken barriers in comedy on both a local and international level. Comedian Lady Vain, Awet Teame, Stirling Smith, Tooky Kavanagh, Zenobia Del Mar, Tyiesha Thompson and Reece Cotton are set to erupt The Riot Theater with audience laughter and cheer. Against all odds, these phenomenal comedians are rising through the ranks with their unique and impeccable stand-up; widening the road to success for others. From America to China, these women have been seen on Comedy Central, Black Women In Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Chicks, and the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival.
